All of Keswick is within easy walking distance which means minimal or no car use required. Shops and eating are close at hand. Kingfisher is a very good property, well appointed and comfortable. The Curlew apartment is fantastic and far exceeded my expectations. I stayed for four nights but didn’t want to leave.
The kitchen has everything you could need and is modern and well laid out, under unit lighting and plenty of power points. The living/dining area is spacious and clean and the TV is modern (even had a Netflix option – assuming you have a subscription of your own). The bathroom is stunning and is accessed off the bedroom. The shower is excellent. The whole place is central heated and controllable from the entrance hall, so you can set it to whatever you want. When I was there it was snowing at one point, and yet the apartment was always warm. And you can even see over to the mountains from one of the bay windows.
