Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing to book with Easedale House. Bookings are made and a contract between you and us comes into effect when we accept a reservation from you. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.

Prices: The price is a bed and breakfast rate and is inclusive of VAT. Any extras such as packed lunches, telephone calls etc are additional. We accept cash, cheque with bankers card, debit cards, credit cards.

Arrival: Your accommodation is available to you from 4pm the day of arrival. Check-in is usually not available after 8pm unless previously arranged by telephone with us.

Departure: Our check out time is 10am – please ensure that you leave your accommodation by this time on the day of departure. Your bill for the accommodation and any extras taken during your stay is payable on departure.

Cancellation and Insurance: Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. We will aim to re-let any cancelled accommodation, however we reserve the right to charge for the first night of your stay if you cancel your booking. Should you cancel less than 7 days before your booking was due to start or fail to check-in then we reserve the right to charge for the full amount of the booking. If you are concerned about the potential impact of this policy then we suggest that you consider taking out holiday cancellation insurance.

Non-availability: We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. In such a circumstance we would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then you would not be liable for any payment.

Damages and Breakages: Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.

Liability: We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Pets: Unfortunately we do not accept any pets at Easedale House.

Data: Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held on computer.
